Sunday, November 18, 2012. We have been asked to share our adoption stories, so I thought I would share mine. At the time I adopted my son, there were only two states which allowed single adoptions, Oregon being one of them. I was the sixth person in Oregon allowed to adopt under this new law, so I am somewhat of a pioneer in the field of single adoptions. Its been a busy life and now at age 80 its slowing .

And- as I started to share yet another social media post- it occurred to me that I want to preserve these random thoughts about middle school in more than a fleeting way- I want to save them for our eldest to reflect on someday.
